All of this was said by my 6 1/2 year old son tonight. Like, literally within the last 2 hours. I felt obligated to write it down here. I mean, this is pure kid comedy gold.
To his sister while cleaning up: “No Addison! You’re doing it wrong. You don’t put the toys away in the boxes, you throw them and kick them like this”
To me: ” MOM! LOOK! LOOK! MOM! LOOK! I can put my feet in the shape of a triangle!”
Me: “Wow Brady that is the most fascinating thing I’ve ever seen in my life, you’re like the first boy ever in history to put their feet in the shape of a triangle”
Him: “Mom, can you let me finish?”
Him: “I just want attention OK? I want as much attention as those little kids get (his little brother and little sister). I mean, I’m like medium sized”.
After I asked him if he had seen Sophia lately: “Yeah, today during the movie she said I could sit next to her. So I sat next to her”
Me: “What was the movie? What was it about”
Him: “I don’t know. Stuff.”
Then I relayed the message to his dad (because he talks about Sophia constantly and we think it’s adorable).
Him: “FORGET IT, SHE’S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU GUYS KEEP TALKING ABOUT HER”.
