9th Birthday Lunch at Chuck E Cheese & Giveaway!

My oldest turned 9 years old on the 4th of January. Everyone says that it goes by quickly, but you never really understand what that means until it happens to you. I swear it was just yesterday that he was born and I became a mom. What makes my head spin the most is that in another 9 years he’ll be a legal adult! Wowzers! And to celebrate his 9th birthday – we’re offering you guys a Chuck E Cheese giveaway! This is a sponsored Chuck E Cheese giveaway, all opinions are my own.

His Birthday Choice

I have let my kids choose what they want to do on the day of their birthday for the last few years and this year my oldest, my BIG 9-year-old chose to go to Chuck E Cheese with his best friend. I was more than happy to oblige since I had not been to a Chuck E Cheese since I was a teenager for my little cousin’s (who is now like 20) first birthday. We picked up his best friend and headed to Chuck E Cheese for a birthday lunch of super fun proportions.

I braved taking 5 kids to Chuck E Cheese by myself and I braced myself for a day full of stress. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how calm and fun it was instead! As a little kid I remember Chuck E Cheese being loud and busy but when we visited on a Monday afternoon (perhaps it’s busier on the weekends) it was busy but not chaotic and it certainly wasn’t loud. We ordered two cheese pizzas and I got a salad and the kids got plenty of tokens to go nuts on.

Something For Everyone in the Family

A lot of places to claim to have “something for everyone’ but in my opinion, Chuck E Cheese really does. The pizza was super tasty, the salad was fresh and the new pretzel dippers looked divine (something for the foodie), there was a toddler play area with toys to ride on and arcade games they could play, an older kids arcade game area with my fav game: skee ball, plenty of seating areas near each play areas and entertainment. We had a seriously great time!

Safe and Secure

When we arrived, each person in our party (party of 6!) received a hand stamp and when we left each person was checked to make sure the hand stamps matched. I appreciated that there was only one exit and entrance and it was closed off. No chance for kids to run away!

  18. Half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. – They typically mess up and only bring one or the other, and then bring a free one.

  32. I’ve never been to Chuck-e-Cheese before. My twins want to go for their 9th birthday. They would choose CHEESE pizza!

  40. Our pizza taste is kind of out there. We like all pepperoni, all veggies, and extra jalapenos.
