Always Eat After When? 7pm?

As you Funny Readers may know, I have been reading and diligently following along with Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion. It is a very easy to read and follow complete guide to achieving and sustaining results. His strategies are based on surprising science, Always Eat After 7pm debunks popular diet myths and offers an easy-to-follow diet that accelerates fat-burning and allows you to indulge in your most intense food cravings: Eating the majority of your calories at night. No more starving ourselves for the sake of goal achieving. I have really appreciated this fact the very most.

True behavior change is identity change

I have tried a multitude of fad diets in the past. However, none of them made me happy. For me, getting healthy meant being unhappy because I was always starving just to complete my goal. It was because of Joel Marion that I realized that true success comes from true behavior change. I love this quote from Always Eat After 7pm: “Unless you do the deep work to change who you are, achieving a goal will be nothing more than a momentary change, instead of the lasting change that you desire. For example, if you focus on losing 20 pounds, you might, but how long will you actually keep those 20 pounds “lost”? Statistics show that less than 6 percent of people continue to keep the weight off.

Why does this happen? It happens because the change is outcome based, not identity based-and once you achieve the outcome of losing 20 pounds, you have no real motivation to continue making healthy choices. The goal is the motivator. You hit the goal. You are no longer motivated.”

Choose Health & Create Routines

One healthy choice leads to another and then to another and then you’re living your best life. This is best achieved by creating routines. Simple routines can quickly lead to habits and as long as your new routines are healthy, then you’re making small changes for your best life. Say, every morning you make it a routine to make your bed and then do 30 squats before getting ready for work. Easy enough right? Not only will you feel good about coming home to a made bed, but soon enough you’ll have a tighter booty too (haha). Creating routines and choose health is absolutely the fastest way to your best life.

What I love about Always Eat After 7pm

What I love about this book is the whole inclusion of both the mental strategies and the physical strategies of achieving and sustaining results. I feel completely capable of maintaining my healthy life. Because I choose health! Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance.
