Everything Under One Roof back to school cool at montclair place
There are lots of great aspects about having a large family. There’s always a lot of conversation, activity and love to be shared. However, it’s also busy, complicated and expensive…most especially when it comes to buying back to school supplies. I mean, all kids are expensive all the time amiright? When my large family is in need of cool back to school items (like clothes, shoes and backpacks) I like to head somewhere where I know that we’ll be able to get everything we need for a good price under one roof. We were recently invited to Montclair Place to check out the fun events and activities and to do a little quality back to school shopping, all opinions are our own.
We had just returned from a week long family vacation and the boys had baseball clinic plans, so the girls and I headed to Montclair Place this past weekend for a girls-day-out. They were excited to shop and frankly, after a week of hiking, fishing and swimming in the lake…so was I. Thankfully the Montclair Place has some seriously cool shopping opportunities and we were able to not only knock out the rest of our back to school shopping list, but also experience some pretty cute entertainment too.

The Ultimate Shopping and Entertainment Destination
The Montclair Place, or what was once called the Montclair Mall when I was in high school has always been the go-to place for the best shopping in the Inland Empire. Always known as the best shopping destination, the Montclair Place is set to become the Inland Empire’s shopping, dining and entertainment ultimate destination with the newest announcement of over 48,000 square feet of newly-leased space following the recent announcement of the new 55,000-square-foot AMC Dine-In Theatre coming to the new wing currently under construction. We can’t wait to see what they have in store.
Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?
We were in attendance to observe the ultimate back-to-school shopping opportunity for lucky Inland Empire families last weekend as randomly selected families were selected for a chance to participate in the Too Cool for School Game show Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? Kids ages 8 and up competed in the super fun contest to win $100 Montclair Place gift cards. It was so fun to watch the kids compete!! These kids were definitely smarter than your average fifth grader as they answered questions I didn’t even know the answer to!
99.1 KGGI was also in attendance to award shoppers with the chance to win special prizes and they also donated to the Kids in Need Foundation. And shoppers were also invited to let their Inner Beauty Shine with the latest tips on skincare and beauty products from MAC and Clinic stylists at the Inner Beauty is Cool Stations. It was definitely a happening place to be!

Just because the game show is over doesn’t mean that there still isn’t fun to be had for Inland Empire Families. We definitely had a great time back to school shopping at Montclair Place. We were able to pick up a new backback from Hot Topic, cool clothes from H&M, Box Lunch and Osh Kosh and so much more! We can’t wait to go back for more soon!
