Life is messy, Clean it up with Dreft
Life is messy, add in kids to the mix and it’s a downright swirling tornado of dirt, stinky socks and boogers. I will never forget the first time I had to wash the clothes after my firstborn’s very first diaper blowout (graphic, I know, but as a mom you know what I’m talking about!). I stood frantic at the foot of the washer with a look of utter confusion and terror on my face. Thankfully, I had Dreft on my side to help wash out not only that monstrous mess but the thousands of other everyday messes that have happened since. In a celebration of everyday messes, we had a few of our best friends over for brunch for a Amazinghood Dreft Party. A Menu That’s Worth The Mess
Anytime we can spend time with our best friends is amazing and having the opportunity to spend time with our friends while celebrating life’s everyday messes and eating amazing food was all the better! My best friends are amazing cook’s and we have a very subtle and quiet competition amongst each other to out-cook, out-do and out-wow each other. I had a blast planning our Dreft party menu! I chose to make a few new recipes and a few of my all time faves as well. I wanted to have a large spread and that’s what I did! Because every great party starts with amazing food right?
On the Dreft Party Menu:
Pioneer Woman’s Tortelli Skewers – This was one of the new recipes I made for the day, they were quite tasty and very messy.
Strawberry, Blueberry, Feta Cheese & Candied Walnut Salad with Poppyseed Dressing – This was a newer recipe (if you can call it a recipe) that I made up just for the day. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a salad.
Roasted Baby Potatoes – Oddly enough I have never made roasted potatoes and I just kind of winged it, but they were amazing!
The Kitchn’s Bacon Brown-Sugar Pork Tenderloin – Seriously my all time favorite recipe that I have made, I make it sooo often my husband is sick of it!
Homemade Cheese Pizza for the kids – Our local grocery store sells premade homemade dough 2 for $3, so I stock my freezer with them and make them every week!
Grapes – every kid loves grapes!
Lemon, glazed cake – for us adults!
Giant Sugar Cookies – for the kids to decorate with icing and sprinkles!

It was a very pleasant afternoon spending time with my friends while the kids played nicely in the other room.
