Bubblefest and the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show have delighted audiences for 20 years and it’s time to join the celebration at the Discovery Cube Orange County’s Bubblefest!

The POPular attraction will only be POPing in Orange County from March 26 through April 10, 2016. This year’s celebration will be bigger and better than ever, featuring the Mega Bubblefest Laser Show and indoor Bubble Zone with plenty of hands-on, soapy bubble exhibits. My family and I were invited to check out the soapy fun, all opinions are our own. This was our first visit to the Discovery Cube Orange County to see the Bubblefest, I took my two “easy” kids with me (my 5 year old and my 3 year old) and we had an ahhhmazing time!

MEGA Bubblefest Laser Show
The Mega Bubblefest Laser Show, performed by “bubble magician” Deni Yang was one of the coolest experiences I’ve ever had. I was sincerely blown away…almost literally and I left the theater feeling happier than I’ve practically ever felt before (OK OK! The birth of my children was special too, but this bubble show was seriously RAD ok? haha).
My kids sat on the floor right in front of the stage with all of the other kids and I sat in the front row behind them where I could still see them (but you can see the kids on the floor from every seat I’m just paranoid). Since the first row was directly stage level, during the “let-loose-of-the-gazillion-bubbles” portions of the show (that’s the official sequence name that I came up with to describe it ok?), the gazillions of bubbles flew directly to my face. I mean, there were so many bubbles I had to shield my face and I couldn’t see around me further than a foot. I loved it. I love, love, love loved it. Oh, and my kids loved it too…because what kid doesn’t love bubbles? I do have to say that there were dark and loud portions of the show and small children may become afraid. Had I brought my 2 year old daughter, I would have had her sit on my lap for the duration of the Mega Bubblefest show. Bubble Magician Deni Yang was so humble, amazing and entertaining and I would follow him anywhere (shh…don’t tell my husband! haha).
These shows are almost guaranteed to sell out, so make sure you purchase your tickets online to guarantee your seat! There will only be four shows daily and seats are limited.
