Family Friendly FUN

Christmas in unarguably my favorite holiday. However, celebrating Halloween in Orange County is my favorite. There is something so sweet about watching my kids eyes light up as they trick or treat in costume, run in hay bale mazes and eat gobs and gobs of candy (OK maybe it’s not so sweet watching them eat all that candy haha). One of my favorite Halloween celebrations is Knott’s Spooky Farm. Unlike Knott’s Scary Farm known to be the largest and most haunting Halloween experience in Southern California. Knotts Spooky Farm is a daytime family friendly Halloween experience that is full of wholesome family fun. The daytime park wide family-friendly Halloween celebration is geared for kids ages 3 – 11  years old and is every weekend in October from 10:00am – 4:00pm. We were invited to attend the celebration, all opinions are our own.

These friendly ghouls were walking around Ghost Town!

We visited Knott’s Spooky Farm as a family this past weekend and we had an absolute blast. We love Knott’s Spooky Farm it’s our favorite time of year to visit Knott’s Berry Farm. It was extra special to attend this year because my husband had the opportunity to go with us. It was definitely a day full of memory making.

Eating Our Way Through Knott’s Berry Farm?

Going to Knott’s Berry Farm is always special. It’s a gorgeous place to spend the day and to get a few roller coaster thrills too. Of course my kids were all about riding the rides inside of Camp Snoopy, our favorite is the Balloon Race and I love watching my kids on the Huff and Puff. Watching them pump their little arms as hard as they can is always adorable. We were given all day dining plan during our visit and let me tell ya – we sure ate our way through Knotts Berry Farm. The Knott’s all-day dining plan is the way to go to feed a family of 6. You can eat every 90 minutes! Every. 90. Minutes. People. For only $31.99 per person! You betta believe I timed that down to the minute! We’ll definitely do all-day dining plan again next time we visit.

Ghost Town Treat Stops
Located in throughout Ghost Town are trick or treating stops with interactive doors. Of course this was my kids favorite activity, anytime they can eat candy is a win-win. I loved the friendly ghosts and ghouls walking around. They were friendly and approachable and I even snapped a pic of my favorite couple.

Spooky Hallow Maze
Located in Camp Snoopy is a fantastic hay bale maze that takes you into a spooky forest surrounded by giant jack-o-lanterns. Word is there’s even been sightings of the elusive headless horseman.

Dia De Los Muertos
Located in Fiesta Village is the daytime, non-scary, totally kid friendly educational celebration of Dia De Los Muertos. Surrounded by colorful flags was a totally awesome celebration of Dia De Los Muertos with goods to purchase (I bought a pie hair pin!), artwork to look at, cookies to decorate and interactive art displays. It was by far my favorite experience of Knott’s Spooky Farm this year. It was simply beautiful.
