Within Every Single Day Lies a Real Life “Mom”ent
Motherhood is full of moments that are unforgettable. Some days that MOMent is sweet, like the first time my youngest daughter placed both of her hands on my face, pulled me in close and looked deep into my eyes. I will never forget that overwhelming heart bursting feeling of love. Other times that MOMent is full of stress and anxiety, like the time I forgot it was our turn for baseball snacks and I stood in front of the cupboard in desperate exasperation.
Whatever the MOMent may be, it is vital to keep cool and get through it. Just like this site: “The Funny Mom Blog” is based around the motto: “because motherhood requires funny” I achieve control in almost every situation by turning it into something funny. In fact, I live for the future when I can fondly recall moments as something funny – such as “remember the time I forgot it was our turn for baseball snacks so we gave all the boys saltine crackers and left over Halloween candy out of our cupboards? Wasn’t that hilarious?” Real-life means going with the flow and making things happen, even when life gets a little unpredictable.
