Get Out & Get Luv
The saying goes that everyone was born to do something, some were born to create music, some to build things and some to teach others. I was born to be a great mom, honestly, there is nothing I love more than being with my children. However, as much as I love my children, every now and then I need a night out – even a few hours alone will do! Having even a few short hours away to myself, or better yet with my husband to get out and get “LUV” is a great way to recharge and refresh to ensure that I will be the best mom possible to my four children. Four crazy kids
Getting away for the evening with my husband is my favorite, spending time alone with him out is always wonderful. However it’s very difficult to find childcare for four young children and never mind I’m slightly controlling – I have a hard time letting strangers watch the kids. Now that we live back in our hometown and my husband’s family lives nearby we’ve had the opportunity a few times to go out on a date night and it was wonderful. I go out with my girl friends at least once a month too while my husband stays home with the kids. My friends and I typically have a mom’s night out at Disneyland and it’s surprisingly the most fun ever. Although I do wish we could go out more often, I know it is best to trust my mom instincts and do what is best for my family!
Stretch That Dollar Momma!
It’s of the utmost importance to me to have the very best for my children, but having four children means that those expectations sometimes just aren’t practical. As an experienced mom I have learned that there are ways to stretch the dollar to make the most out of everything. I scour sales and clearance, I price compare everything (and I mean everything!) and I compromise and do without constantly (“we don’t really need this do we?!”). LUVs is a great diaper at an amazing value and one of the best ways to stretch the dollar. Why spend more when you don’t have to? Trust me when I say that LUVs are an amazing diaper at an even more amazing price.
Organize, Organize, Organize.
One of the ways that I manage money is by organizing and knowing clearly what we have “in stock”. That way I am not purchasing excess things we don’t need. When I have everything organized and in it’s place (I know, I know: easier said than done!) I save money and time. I created a diaper changing station in our family room with our LUVs diapers, diaper cream, wipes and floor blanket. When the diapers are getting low, then I know it’s time to buy more LUVs. This diaper changing station will be in handy for when we do get a babysitter too, everything is all in one place.
