One Iconic Character
There are not many things in this world that create an impact of meaningful memories through the generations, quite like Mickey Mouse. The change Walt Disney made in our world in 1928, with the creation of his iconic character, is one we’re still celebrating and enjoying nearly a century later.
This year, Mickey Mouse turns 90 years old, and the entire world is celebrating him! The reach Walt Disney has had around our globe, is one he would continue to be amazed by today.
And it all started with a mouse…the true original.
We attended the live taping of ABC’s upcoming, Mickey’s 90th Spectacular, dedicated to saying Happy Birthday to our favorite mouse, and it was, indeed, spectacular! This two-hour television event will air on Sunday, November 4th (8:00pm – 10:00pm EST) on ABC and features some of the most amazing guests, all there to share in the love we have for Disney. This special is full of musical performances, very moving tributes and some never-before-seen short films!

An All-Star Lineup
With a brilliant star-studded lineup, just a few of the amazing presenters and performers are Leslie Odum, Jr, Meghan Trainor, Kristien Bell, Josh Groban, Sofia Carson, Josh Gad, The Zac Brown Band…and Mickey Mouse, himself!
My husband and I donned our sparkly mouse ears and sat in exuberant joy as the memories of what Mickey Mouse has meant to both of us in our lifetime, completely overwhelmed us. Mickey has been entertaining, sharing joy, emulating kindness and bringing families around the world together, for generations. And at 90 years young, I don’t see signs of him slowing down any time soon!

Mickey’s Spectacular is not only heartwarming, fun and entertaining, but will also pry the lid off that memory box you’ve been storing from your own childhood.
This television special will move you. The history, the memories, the moving tributes, the music….the magic. The Wonderful World of Disney has done it again. So mark your calendars, and don’t miss this family event!
