Spread the Mahalo Spirit with Islands Restaurants Gift Cards!

Don’t Let The Family Meltdown Happen!

Shopping for gifts on an empty stomach can turn grinch-like pretty quickly. Recently, the family and I were out running a few last minute Christmas errands and I could sense that the communal mood was slowly drifting downward. And everyone knows what happens with whiny kids and a grouchy husband (hint: total destruction melt down city). So we stopped into our local Islands Restaurant for a delicious, family friendly dinner. Lucky for us the folks at Islands Restaurant filled our bellies with yumminess for review purposes, all opinions are our own.

The Bleunami!

Islands Are Found…Everywhere

Islands Restaurants are most typically located around really great shopping mecca’s like Westfield Mission Valley, La Jolla Village Square and the Brea Mall. Whether you’re stopping in after a busy day of after holiday shopping (gotta spend those gift cards amiright) or going to grub just to grub, Islands Restaurants will fill your belly quickly before you’re off to another adventure.

Everyone Sharing The Kona Pie!

Noshing Done Right

On the night of our most recent Islands visit, we loaded up on cheddar fries to share as an appetizer, with plenty of ranch sauce for dipping. I had the Bleunami burger on a whole wheat bun with a side salad. The Bleunami is hands down my most favorite burger of all time. The kids noshed on the Jr Tiki Tenders, crisp white meat chicken tenders cooked to perfection. My oldest son scooped up the Big Wave burger, served plain. I treated myself to the Big Island Iced Tea. It was my first time having it and I was pleasantly surprised by it! Last, but certainly not least we all shared a Kona Pie before heading out with full bellies and happy hearts. We visit Islands quite frequently, at least a few times a month I would say and we’re never disappointed.

After we ate to our hearts content at Island’s we finished our holiday errand day by driving through a popular neighborhood in Brea that goes all out on decorations! It was the perfect ending to a quite busy day. Thank you Islands for filling us up!

Some To Give and Some To Keep!

Christmas is just days away and we’ve got the best last minute gift idea for you! Right now through December 31st, for every $25 Islands Restaurant gift card purchased, you’ll receive a $5 gift card for yourself to use in January! That’s a delicious win-win I’d say.
