The spookiest day of the year is just around the corner and if your kids are anything like mine, they love the excitement leading up to Halloween more than anything (OK, they do love getting lots of free candy too haha). To get my kids in the non-spooky spirit of Halloween we’ll be streaming our top favorite 5 Spooktacular Kids Halloween Movies on Netflix! We are #StreamTeam members, all opinions are our own.
Room on the Broom
The book was written by original storyteller Julia Donaldson, Room on the Broom is the perfect Halloween show for the youngest Halloween fans. A friendly witch, hungry dragon, and muddy monster learn about friendship and sharing (by making room on the broom), and kids will delight in the surprising and not so scary ending.
Hotel Transylvania 2
In the second film of the franchise, Hotel Transylvania 2 takes us back to the Hotel that is now open to human guests! Mavis and Johnny have a young son named Dennis, whose lack of any vampire abilities worries his grandfather Dracula. Things turn upside-down when Dracula’s old-school human-hating father, Vlad, unexpectedly visits the hotel.Hilarity and mishaps prevail in this heartwarming tale.

Get ready for some of your kids favorite characters to tell slightly spooky stories that’ll definitely prepare them for Halloween! Shrek and Donkey are on hand to spill out some frights as well as the characters from Monsters Vs Aliens!
Courage The Cowardly Dog
Courage the Cowardly Dog is a pink anthropomorphic beagle who lives with a married elderly couple in the middle of Nowhere. The trio are frequently thrown into bizarre misadventures, often involving the paranormal and the supernatural. Known for it’s dark humor, Courage The Cowardly Dog is perfect to set the mood for Halloween.
Goosebumps
Perfect for the older kid set, Goosebumps brings a little harmless fright to Netflix Streaming just in time for Halloween. My 9 year old son is slowly experimenting with “scarier” shows and he’s all about watching Goosebumps right now.
