From now until March 31st 2014 Knotts Berry Farm together with the Susan G. Komen Foundation of Orange County, Knotts Berry Farm is has “gone pink” in support of Breast Cancer awareness, services and research by offering a special “Pink Ticket” and limited edition specially designed “pink” merchandise with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Komen Orange County.

#KnottsPink gear available at any Knotts store thru March

75% of the funds raised for Susan G. Komen are used to provide services in Orange County:

  • Education and early breast cancer detection
  • Information and support for breast cancer survivors and families
  • Funding for free mammograms for the underprivileged and uninsured

25% of the funds raised for Susan G. Komen support national research to discover the cure for breast cancer.

I had the opportunity to attend a #KnottsPink conference, held at Knotts Berry Farm which featured testimonials from breast cancer survivors and the special opportunity to watch a few brave breast cancer survivors ride the Pony Express. They rode the Pony Express with glee in their hearts and joy on their faces. It was truly a magical moment to see.
