Lefty’s Are Welcome!
I personally love the LeapPad Platinum stylus and the responsiveness of the tablet to it. Since (so far) 3 out of 4 of my children are left handed, having the stylus string located in the middle of the tablet helps tremendously. That feature of the LeapPad Platinum proves to me that LeapFrog really thinks about kids and their unique needs. There simply isn’t anything more frustrating for a mom of lefty’s than right handed biased toys. The end of the stylus tip is squishy and works so well on the tablet screen. OK so I must admit to you now that I am totally guilty of playing with the LeapPad Platinum after the kids go to bed! I’m just a big kid at heart I guess;)
Imagicard, Imagiwhynot?
The LeapFrog LeapPad Platinum comes standard with some pretty cool built in apps and games, however with the kid safe web you’ll have the opportunity to access and download (for a fee) over 1,000 more educational games. There’s something for everyone! The LeapFrog Imagicards are interactive game cards and included app that make learning even more fun. Within the Imagicard game on the LeapPad Platinum your child will be asked questions and to answer the question they have to take a picture of the correct Imagicard out of the 33 character and curricular cards. It’s really fun and my oldest son loves to play the Imagicards Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game, it’s helping him learn fractions!
I can’t rave enough about this hot new toy, it’s perfect for the gift giving season that is just right around the corner!
