If there’s one important lesson I’ve learned along the way of my own motherhood journey is that kids shoes should be durable, lightweight and easy enough for them to put on themselves. With an emphasis of the kids being able to put on their shoes themselves. Between packing lunches and gathering backpacks all while getting four kids up, fed and out the door on time every school morning I heavily rely on a little independence from my kids to help the morning routine by putting their shoes on themselves.
