The crowd exploded as the engines roared to life, the excitement in the Angel stadium air was chilly…but palatable. I’ve never experienced such crowd enthusiasm in my life. Last night’s Monster Jam at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim was an epic experience that my boys and I will remember for a lifetime. It was my youngest son’s and my first time going to a Monster Jam show and we were completely blown away by the action, excitement and entertainment. We received tickets to Monster Jam at Angel Stadium 2016 for review purposes, all opinions are my own.

Produced by worldwide entertainment leader Feld Entertainment, Monster Jam is a live action monster truck sport that includes racing and the crowd favorite: freestyle – both of which contain loads of action. The twelve-feet-tall, ten-thousand-pound machines brings audiences to their feet, racing and ripping up a custom-designed track full of obstacles to soar over or smash through.

Pit Party – it’s a MUST!

Before each Monster Jam show from 2:00-5:00pm at the Angel Stadium is the Pit Party – and it’s a must! During the pit party, you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal to the monster trucks before the show, meet your favorite drivers and get autographs, grab some free swag goodies and so much more! I was so impressed with how awesome the pit party was and my boys were starry eyed at the coolness! I felt it was the perfect opportunity for little kids to see the trucks up close and personal to really get a sense of what the show is all about. Tickets are required to enter the pit party, they sell for $10 each.

The Kid Details!

Watching Monster Jam on TV is nothing in comparison to attending a real-live show in person. I read a lot of reviews before going to the Monster Jam show last night so that I would feel well aware of what to expect – mostly in regards to my kids. I wanted to make sure that my youngest son; who is only 3 years old would be comfortable and OK with the noise level inside the stadium (I had read several times that it was very loud and ear plugs were recommended). Not only was he perfectly OK with the noise from the monster trucks – he wasn’t bothered at all AND there were tons of kids at last night’s Monster Jam show – even babies! Monster Jam is totally a kid friendly/family friendly activity for everyone in your family. I can’t wait to take my girls next year, they’ll love it!

The 2016 touring season brings more Monster Jam excitement tailored perfectly for your family’s budget, and these colorful, larger-than-life beasts are sure to capture the hearts of both young and old. Tickets start at $25 per adult and $10 per child (children 2 and over require a ticket). Pit party passes are only $10 and worth every cent. Tickets sell out fast so if you’re interested in getting some you better grab them fast!

Upcoming Up-Close Events!

The next Orange County Monster Jam show will be held at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on February 13th 2016. Tickets are pretty scarce for that show, but there are still a few opportunities to meet some of your favorite drivers at the next up-close events coming up!
