When I’m not busy working on this blog, or taking my kids some place fabulous (or not fabulous like the doctor’s office), or cleaning this yucky house then I am watching movies on Netflix. I love watching movies, I love, love, love watching movies. I think I have always loved watching movies, it’s a wonderful temporary escape filled with fantastical adventures. Of course I love reading books too, but with a movie I have the ability pause it without getting engrossed in a book like I have a tendency to do.
The Funny kids love watching their favorite television shows on Netflix. Ever since we started streaming Netflix, there has been no more whining about missed show times because on Netflix their favorite shows are available with the click of a button.
Our Daily Streamin Routine
While The Funny kids watch about hour or so of their favorite shows on Netflix (like Super Why, Phineas and Ferb and The Hive) in the morning, I quickly get a post or two done. While the kids play outside, I fix breakfast, clean the kitchen and whatever else cleaning needs to be done (like everything, all the time). The rest of the morning into the early afternoon is my time to spend with the kids, doing crafts, baking goodies or going somewhere fun. Then when nap time hits (finally) I respond to emails and set down to watch a movie on Netflix.
A Milestone For The Funny Family
This Fall has brought The Funny Family many new milestones, Missy started preschool, my oldest started the 2nd grade and I started working on this site full-time. The biggest milestone of all is The Funny Family is now a member of the Netflix #StreamTeam, which is an amazing accomplishment for this site and for our family. I am so happy that we were nominated (thank you to whoever you are!) and selected. Over the next year we will be sharing our favorite shows, movies and crafts all thanks to Netflix.
