Before the holidays Missy and I were invited to tea at the Hotel Bel Air with Sprout to learn about the new upcoming children’s programming. Being a huge…and I mean HUGE advocate of Sprout TV, I couldn’t wait for the opportunity to learn about the new shows, meet Sandy Wax President of Sprout and a few other “special guests” (pictured above!!). The tea was also a special opportunity to donate diapers and wipes on behalf of Baby Buggy.
In case you didn’t already know, Sprout is the only preschool network programmed with a preschoolers day in mind. Starting with their morning show Sunny Side Up and ending with the Good Night Show, Sprout helps kids and parents prepare for their days with activities, encouraging parental interaction with crafts, birthday celebrations and more. We watch Sprout every morning after we drop off my 1st grader at school and we watch it every evening after bath time. The highlight of Missy’s year was when her birthday card was selected and shown on air!
The tea was lovely, and I mean lovely. There was a kids table where Missy met her new friend Tori – they were instant best friends within 5 minutes of knowing each other. They talked about pink, Chica, coloring and all things girly while I was able to enjoy tea and yummies.
Sprout will be introducing 2 new hosts of The Sunny Side Up Show: Tim and Kaitlyn to join host alums, Carly and Dennisha. We had the amazing opportunity to meet them in person! Along with the cutest chicken in the world, Chica! Missy was so ecstatic to meet Chica, whom she literally adores. She continues to talk about meeting Tim, Kaitlyn and especially Chica to this day!
Tim and Kaitlyn sang songs for us (like the opposites song) and every kid in attendance got a picture opportunity. It was perfect.
Sprout will also be debuting new exclusive children’s programming as well. Stay tuned for details. Thank you Sprout for an absolutely memorable afternoon, where you once again – made a little girls dreams come true.
