Winter in the OC
Living in Southern California certainly has it’s perks. Sure, we get near perfect weather year round, however, I don’t know about you but I certainly experience “Snow FOMO” (it’s a real thing!) where I feel like I have “fear of missing out on snow”. With the idea of missing out on cold winter days cuddling up by the fireplace while sipping hot chocolate after a day full of building snowmen and having snow ball fights with my kids creeps up, I’m so thankful that we have Winter Fest at the OC Fair & Event Center that provides SoCal’s ultimate winter experience with REAL SNOW for everyone! Winter Fest is a giant wonderland of immersive wintry fun including a full outdoor ice rink, 130-foot, six lane Snowflake Summit ice slide, a play park featuring real snow for snow angels or snowman building, the world’s largest rocking horse, strolling carolers, personal visits in the cabin home of Mr. and Mrs. Claus, nightly Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, carnival rides, festive entertainment, tons of yummy food and a walk-through holiday light show featuring two million sparkling lights.
The older kids and I will be heading on down to Winter Fest next Friday. I’m most looking forward to the play park with real snow so that I can build a snowman right here in Orange County! The idea of real snow being in the OC just trips me out, I love it! I know my kids will love the two million light walk-through show, they’re always dazzled by Christmas lights. Honestly, we’re looking forward to all of the fun festivities at Winter Fest.

Private, rink-side VIP cabanas start at only $69 per session, creating a destination for holiday office parties, birthday parties, family retreats or date night.
