Hello Funny Mom Blog friends! It’s my favorite season at the Irvine Park Railroad once again! That’s right, it’s time for the annual Pumpkin Patch at the Irvine Park Railroad and this year marks the 10th anniversary of amazing wholesome family Fall fun. Best yet – we’ve got a great giveaway just for you!
Located inside the Irvine Regional Park, the Irvine Park Railroad’s 10th annual Pumpkin Patch is open daily beginning at 10:00 am, beginning September 19th through October 31st.

Thousands of the most gorgeous pumpkins you’ve ever seen will be piled up in heaps of orange and will fill the areas behind the train station located within the locomotive loop. There is even a section of perfectly sized tot pumpkins! We have a tradition at the Eaglin household that our kids can only get a pumpkin as heavy as they can carry, so the tot sized pumpkins are perfect for my little ones while my oldest kids really push their brawn and get the biggest pumpkin their little muscles will carry. It’s adorable!
This year’s Pumpkin Patch activities include: Train rides, hay rides, panning for gold, a child-friendly haunted house, a hay maze, a moon bounce, pumpkin ring toss, carnival games, cookie decorating, John Deere tractor racers, face painting, picture stands, great food, and an entire day of really amazing family fun. My personal favorite activity during the annual Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch besides the amazing perfect picture opportunities is the Hay Ride, we do the Hay Ride!
Admission into the Pumpkin Patch is free. Prices for all other activities vary; please visit Irvine Park Railroad for additional information and costs.
The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. Important parking information: As Halloween nears, we encourage visitors to plan to arrive early to help avoid crowds, particularly on the weekend.

I love watching my kiddo having a blast driving the little tractors, posing for pics at every stop, playing “hide” and seek behind the trees and pumpkins, the bounce houses, cookie decorating, the midway style games…and of course the train!
