It’s the most wonderful time of the year…if you’re like me you love the Fall season in Southern California. I know I say this every year, but I love, love, love the Fall season in So Cal. It’s cold enough for a light jacket but not so cold that we have to scrape snow off of sidewalks or cars. I’d have to say, that the Fall season is my absolute favorite. And my favorite activity with my kids during the Fall season is hands down attending the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch. Partly for sentimental reasons and mostly because it’s awesome, the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is the premiere destination for families during the Halloween season.
The 14th annual Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch will be held from September 14th through October 31st 2019. The Eaglin Family will be there because it’s our fav! Come and join us! We will receive tickets for review, all opinions are our own.
Family Fun
Families are invited to a day full of wholesome family fun at the Irvine Park Railroad’s annual Pumpkin Patch. Besides the most gorgeous pumpkins to choose from in all of California, family friendly activities include:
- Carnival Games
- Face Painting
- Child-friendly Haunted House
- Hay Maze
- Train Rides
- Hay Rides
- Cookie Decorating
- John Deere Tractor Rids
- And So Much More!
Keep in mind that some activities require tickets. Tickets are $5 each. The Pumpkin Patch is located in Locomotive Loop and Miner’s Meadow just behind the train station. Thousands of pumpkins, in all shapes and sizes, fill the areas behind the train station. All visitors are sure to find the perfect pumpkin.
The Great Pumpkin “Weigh Off”
Irvine Park Railroad’s 4th annual “Great Pumpkin Weigh-Off” will take place on Saturday, September 21st starting at 10:00 am. Come on over and see if pumpkin growers have what it takes to grow the biggest pumpkin. These suckers are huge! And guess what? KTLA Channel 5 weatherman Henry DiCarlo will host this event!
Important Parking Info!!
The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends. Important parking information: As Halloween nears, we encourage visitors to plan to arrive early to help avoid crowds, particularly on the weekend.
