It’s August 1999, I just graduated high school, he and I just started dating, I was growing out my bangs because my Aunt whom I adored told me that only lesbians have bangs in San Francisco, I was about to leave to attend SJSU and I was obsessed with overalls.
This framed photograph now sits in our downstairs bathroom, where whenever a first time guest comes to visit they don’t believe it’s us.
