Pumpkins! Pumpkins! Pumpkins! 

It’s my favorite time of year to visit the Irvine Park Railroad. I love the crisp air, I love the fall leaves and I love, love, love the pumpkin patch!! We have been going to the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch exclusively since 2007. Going to the patch is one of my most dearest traditions.

What I love the most about the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is its honest-to-goodness family fun wholesomeness. The pumpkins are divine, the activities are sweet and everyone has a great time. The patch is full of memories just waiting to be made.

Admission into the pumpkin patch which is located in Locomotive Loop and Miner’s Meadow just behind the train station is free. However there is a small fee for some pumpkin patch activities.  The parking fee for Irvine Regional Park is $3.00 per vehicle on weekdays and $5.00 per vehicle on weekends.

Tickets are $5.00 each, a book of 15 tickets is $60.00

Every year, we pack up the kids and our best “Fall” outfits and we head to the Irvine Regional Park for a day full of pumpkin-goodness-fun. We do every activity available, we eat lunch, we ride the train and the hay ride, we watch the pony’s we visit the zoo, we soak in the glorious fresh air and we have a ton of fun.

Our family tradition of choosing pumpkins is easy, the kids must be able to carry their own pumpkins to the counter to be purchased. It’s fun to watch my son push his weigh-lifting abilities to ensure the biggest pumpkin possible every year:
