I used to think it was because I wanted to giggle at other peoples idea of what moms want and now I’ve realized it’s because I literally get the best ideas of items I actually want, would use and that are unique! The 5 BEST gifts for mom this Mother’s Day

1. A Day Off
   Ok. If you’re not already a parent, let me let you in on a little secret…we love you guys but hot dang if we don’t need a day off from mom-ing every now and then. And what better way to enjoy our day “off” than at the spa? I love and adore spending the day at Glen Ivy Hot Springs with my good friend. It is such a relaxing, wonderfully terrific day…not mom-ing.
2. A Day Out
   I am a self-proclaimed day adventurer and there is nothing I love more than spending a day out in the fresh air doing something new, fun and exciting. What can be better than a new California experience where we’ll walk away from the day with a phone-full of amazing pictures that will last a lifetime? Every mom would love day at the Museum of Illusions in Los Angeles!
3. A Day In The Sun
   In my wildest dreams my husband will take me away (with or without the kids) to a magical weekend away to the gorgeous Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells. My kids love, love, love the pool and sandy beach entry and I love the service, the food, the weather and the poolside bar. It’s the best affordable getaway that truly feels like you’re getting away from it all.
4. A Lifetime of Days Sparkling
   I have this new obsession of loving dainty gold rings. Call me crazy, but there is nothing that makes me feel more “together” than a stack of dainty rings. I love wearing rings, especially amazing ones.
5. A Day Of Shopping
   Lets be honest. There is nothing more enticing than the idea of a day of shopping just for ourselves. As moms, we have the tendency to always put others first. But a day where we can splurge on ourselves? It can be small, or large or even in between. We would totally appreciate it.
