The Milk That Might Change Everything

Growing up, I drank so much cow’s milk on a daily basis I was practically swimming in the stuff. Back then, milk was my primary source of refreshment more than any other beverage (even water!). However, at some point along the way when I was about 13 or 14 years old my tummy started to feel gassy and bloated after drinking milk. In an attempt to relieve the pressure (pun intended!) I self-diagnosed myself as lactose intolerant and I gave up drinking milk all together. Now, I have partnered up with the a2 milk Company™ in an ambassadorship to help spread the word about the company that is creating a milk that might change everything – it certainly has changed me.

Just As Nature Intended

Did you know that the milk we drink today isn’t the same milk it was many years ago? Originally, cows’ milk contained only one beta casein protein, called A2. Over time, cows began to naturally produce a different beta casein protein, called A1, which digests differently. So, the majority of the milk sold today has A1 mixed in with A2. More and more research suggests this may be the reason some people say milk just doesn’t agree with them. The a2 Milk Company™ identifies the cows that produce only A2 protein and now they’re bringing back that original 100% a2 milk® from heirloom A2 cows.

Happy, Healthy Cows Make Happy, Healthy a2 Milk!

The a2 Milk Company™ has partnered with U.S. family dairy farmers in upstate New York and the Midwest to expand the heirloom a2 herd. This growing herd of a2 milk® cows naturally produce milk free of the A1 protein, is antibiotic free and contains no artificial ingredients or additives. And you can feel good about drinking a2 milk® because a2 Milk Company™ farmers are certified in the humane treatment of animals, the cows are fed a vegetarian diet and never given hormones or rBST.
