What is better to give on Valentine’s Day than the biggest hug from the biggest heart? Quite possibly my favorite Walt Disney Animation film of 2014, Big Hero 6 is a heartwarming tale of loyalty, love and friendship and is available Digital HD/Disney Movies Anywhere February 3, 2015 and on Blu-ray Combo Pack February 24, 2045. We received a review copy, all opinions are my own.

Big Hero 6 is an action-packed comedy adventure about the poignant friendship that develops between a boy and an extraordinary robot named Baymax as they embark on a life-changing journey to unravel the mystery behind a devastating and heartbreaking event. Directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams, and produced by Roy Conli, Big Hero 6 is a family friendly must-see.

A Heartwarming Message For Every Family Member

The film introduces Baymax, a lovable, personal companion robot, who forms a special bond with a boy who is a robotics prodigy named Hiro Hamada. When a devastating turn of events (that is quite sad so be forewarned btw) catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of “San Fransokyo”, Hiro turns to Baymax and his diverse group of friends — adrenaline junkie Go Go Tomago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred — who transform into a band of unlikely heroes.

Big Hero 6 is the right amount of action and adventure filled with a huge heart and a heartwarming message about love, loss and friendship. I cannot urge you and your family to see it enough if you haven’t already. You will thank me, I promise.
