With the first glimpses of the sun’s rays, cool breezes, colorful flowers and sounds of happy birds chirping, I can’t help but get inspired of spring. To my kids, springtime means longer days playing outside full of laughing and adventure. Even my littlest one, who can barely walk and talk feels the positive energy that comes with the seasonal change. I am a huge, massive fan of children’s fashion and I like to get creative with color and pattern variations to match each of their personalities.
My favorite season to freshen up my kids wardrobe is during the spring time because that is when I can find the brightest colors and most whimsical prints. Since I have four children to purchase clothing for I have learned through life’s trial and errors that quality is key when it comes to purchasing new kids clothing. There is nothing worse than buying low quality clothing only to see if tear, shrink and fade (that drives me nuts!). Recently, I went in to my local Carters and went on an extra-super-fun shopping spree. I could hardly contain myself from purchasing the entire store’s worth of adorable baby, toddler and children’s clothes. For this particular shopping trip I focused on snabbing clothes for my girls (because let’s face it, girls are SO much fun to buy for!), however I did pick up the cutest pair of Carters swim trunks and rad sunglasses for my youngest son too.
I have always loved Carters for my baby clothes, however their toddler and kid fashions are seriously amazing. The spring line of bright colors and fun prints had me at hello. Plus, I’m always a sucker for black and white graphics like the one below on the baby.
I also loved the structure of this dress-shirt type dress and when paired with a colorful headband this spring outfit is to die for.
Hot for spring (or any season really) is gold accessories. I snabbed these gold sandals at Carters up right quick. Gold can go with any color and it pairs so fabulously with bright spring colors.
