From a very young age my 9 year old son never had much interest in toys. Despite my many attempts to capture his attention with building blocks, cars or crafts, he never expressed any long term interest. Instead, I would often find him in the back yard alone with twine and sticks creating pulley systems and whatnot. Trying to buy gifts for him was always the worst.
