Star Lord, Groot, Rocket Raccoon, Drax and Gamora from Box Office blaster Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is now available to invade your home screen. That’s right, the popular hit Guardians of the Galaxy is now available on Digital HD & Blu-Ray just in time for the gift giving holidays. The film is an absolute hilarious, action-packed comedy with an all-star cast of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper and Dave Bautista. Set in the future of space, a group of misfit and selfish outlaws band together out of their own will’s to save the galaxy. In their action-packed adventures they find that having people you care about is really what life is all about…and has us all saying “I Am Groot”.
My son and I had the amazingly awesome opportunity to attend the Hollywood Premiere of the film and it was a very special, very awesome, very once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for us. The experience was made even more special because my 7 year old son and I loved, loved, loved the film.
I like to give gifts that mean something to the receiver and when given the opportunity to gift my Star-Lord loving son a copy of Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Blu-Ray I about flipped. Giving the gift made of awesome is special.
In celebration of The Guardians Of The Galaxy Blu-Ray release, my little kids and I had a pre-screening party complete with movie popcorn and a homemade Rocket Raccoon mask. It was their first time seeing the film and it was an extra special treat for them to watch it before we gift it to their big brother for the holidays.
Check out this Rocket Raccoon mask! My youngest son was obsessed with wearing it during the film!
In the film, Rocket Raccoon is a sassy, full of attitude raccoon that is a genius when it comes to mechanical inventions. I felt as though he would be the most relatable to the little kids since he looks harmless and fury, so I used this homemade raccoon mask the kids made a few weeks ago to make our in-home Guardians Of The Galaxy Blu-Ray screening party even more fun.
Of course we picked up all of our home screening party goodies from Walmart – the only place to get the best products at the best deals. In honor of the film’s Blu-Ray release, Walmart has stocked their shelves with super fun toys too. We picked up a Rocket Raccoon Titan Hero Series action figure that comes with a 6-inch blaster. I think having toys to accompany the film makes the film much more tangible for kids.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Blu-Ray and DVD is now available with extra features: Exclusive Character O-sleeve and exclusive music zinepack and a 64 page magazine with cast and crew interviews, exclusive behind-the-scenes photos and trivia PLUS a custom “cassette” laptop decal.
