How I’ve incorporated Mountain High Yoghurt into my diet

May 1, 2012 By Desiree Eaglin

Doing this Mountain High Yoghurt campaign over the course of the last several weeks has been very fun. I have enjoyed sharing information about MHY with you, recipes and stories as well. I hope you have enjoyed these posts as well.
This week’s theme is about how I’ve incorporated Mountain High Yoghurt into my diet. Which, just between you and I, honestly wasn’t hard to do. Yogurt is a natural, healthy alternative to other products like sour cream and cream cheese, but do you know how I’ve made a difference in my diet? I’ve cut out ice cream!

A picture taken 2.47 seconds ago with my cell phone. This is real life folks. Me hard at work while eating my MHY parfait!

I used to have ice cream for dessert (after the kids were in bed of course so that I could actually enjoy it) almost every night. Now, my husband and I have substituted fatty ice cream with Mountain High Yoghurt low fat Vanilla yoghurt parfaits with granola and strawberries! It is just as sweet, but so much tastier too. I love the variety we can have to0, I could do berries or cookies (ok, less healthy but still delicious!) or just plain. OK NOW I’M HUNGRY DARNIT!

What kinds of things do you think you could substitute with Mountain High Yoghurt in your diet with?

Oooh I am a yogurt fanatic!! I love yogurt with walnuts, almonds, and a few dried cranberries. I love Greek yogurt especially, do they have this type?

Your parfait pic made me want one too!
