Introducing the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40! #GracoSafety #spon

October 22, 2012 By Desiree Eaglin

Did you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics have recently recommended that parents continue to put their children in a rear-facing car seat until the age of 2?
This recommendation came after a study in the Journal Injury Prevention (2011) showed that children under the age of 2 are 75% less likely to die or be severely injured in a crash if they are riding rear-facing.

Graco is a company that has been in the baby product business since 1953 and they are dedicated to creating products that give parents the peace of mind that their babies are safe and comfortable. With this motto in mind, Graco has created the first and only infant rear facing car seat for children up to 2 years old in response to the new American Academy of Pediatrics recommendation. The Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 is the only newborn to 2 year infant car seat that grows with your baby from 4 pounds up to 40 pounds.

I had the honor of hosting a Graco event at the Babies R Us in La Mesa, California just this past Saturday. The crew at the La Mesa Babies R Us was amazing and so welcoming and set up the presentation for me with car seats and fliers and comfortable chairs right next to the baby registry desk. A big thank you to them, they made the event a success!

During the presentation I had the chance to talk about the features of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 and show a product demonstration. I personally fell in love with this car seat and wish I had one for each of my kids when they were babies. It is such a durable, sturdy and safe car seat that is cost effective too. Instead of having to purchase 2 different car seats, the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40 adjusts to the size of your baby by sliding out and up. There is even a super handy kick plate so your active toddler doesn’t kick the seat! How amazing is that?

Features of the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 40

  • Adjustable base with 8 different recline positions – that offer maximum comfort plus plenty of legroom for your growing baby.
  • Simply Safe Adjust harness system – adjust the child’s harness and headrest with just one hand without having to rethread the harness
  • Compatible with all Graco strollers that offer the Click Connect system (Fast Action Fold Click Connect, Fast Action Fold Sport Click Connect and the SnugRider Elite)
  • It comes in 2 styles: The “Mena” and the “Moonstruck
  • Machine washable – the fabric of the carseat is machine washable

The Graco SnugRide Click Connect is exclusively at Babies R Us and retails for $219.99. For more information check out GracoSafety.

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Graco. The opinions and text are all mine.

Those 8 positions sound amazing! I had to switch my son earlier than I wanted to and I would love a coarsest with more legroom for my next one.

My favorite part is the removable/washable cover. Those things get filthy pretty quick and I love being able to wash it.

The best thing is that you can adjust straps with a button and not have to thread the straps through the back.
