Yesterday while lying in bed and channel surfing for some mindless, non kid, non research, non drama entertainment, I came across “Full House” on Nick@Nite. I felt a pang of emotion deep within my being. I loved watching that show every Friday night as a kid. Along with Family Matters and Step by Step (can I get a heck yea for 90’s family television?!). Then I started feeling old. Like, Kim Tracy Prince old. When I was a kid, Nick@Nite was for ancient shows like Mr. Ed and the Little House on the Prarie. You know, stuff my grandma liked and grew up on. Now here my kids will watch Nick@Nite and think that Full House was created before the invention of time.
I was glued to the set last night, I watched the Tanner girls carefully, trying to catch old memories of how I idolized DJ, how I thought Stephanie was kinda snotty and how I thought Michelle was the cutest kid ever on earth.
Then it dawned on me.
My daughter is almost a spitting image of Michelle Tanner (aka Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen).  Check this out:
Now I just need to teach her how to say: “You got it dude!”

Of course. You’re daughter is even more talented than the Olsen twins. Okay, that’s not saying much, but we all know that if she’s your kid, she must be insanely, wonderfully talented. Because she is the best kid on the planet.
