Taking a sweet treat drink break by the pool with Kool Aid For A Mom #KoolOff

July 21, 2014 By Desiree Eaglin

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser.

It has been a long summer being home all day with my 4 kids with ages ranging from 7 years old to 4 months old. I have been the ultimate octopus mommy with 8 tentacles trying to take care of all them with all of their different needs at once. To say it’s been a challenge would be an understatement. To make sure that I don’t get completely mom worn out I regularly take sweet treat drink breaks by the pool with Kool Aid during nap time. I love the fruity sweetness in Kool Aid fruit juice, it takes me back to my childhood and it helps me relax and recharge from the busy-ness of the morning.

My Kool Aid sweet drink trick is to combine flavors. I like putting grape Kool Aid on the bottom of an ice filled glass and Tropical Punch on the top. It creates such a burst of sweet flavor that is so refreshing by the pool, not to mention a gorgeous glass of magenta fruit juice. Top the glass with a fresh strawberry and I’m instantly taken to a tropical island vacation.

The best thing about Kool Aid – other than instantly taking me back to a refreshing child hood is the price! The brand new 96oz Ready-To-Drink Kool Aid bottles are less than $2 at your local walmart. That, my friends is magical.

Taking a dip in the pool or simply putting my toes in the Jacuzzi is so relaxing and helps me #KoolOff and prepare for the rest of the afternoon and evening with the kids. It’s really just a great mom battery recharge. Looks refreshing doesn’t it?
