Lady Soma Face and Body Products Review

October 5, 2015 By Desiree Eaglin

Lady Soma Product Review - The Funny Mom Blog

As a mom of a bunch of kids my daily skin care regime gets abbreviated for the most part. There just isn’t enough hours in the day for a long face time session in the bathroom. I rely heavily on face and skin products that will do the job and do it quickly so that I may go about my day or evening. When Lady Soma contacted me regarding a face and body product review I jumped at the opportunity to try something amazing and new, all opinions are my own.

Lady Soma is an all natural, healthy and holistic source of women’s probiotic supplements and skincare, which are all specially formulated to fit women’s skin, hair and health needs. The word “soma” comes from the Greek language meaning “body”. Based in New York City, Lady Soma has been raising the bar in the women’s health industry by instituting truth in labeling, and ingredient safety. I had the opportunity to try several products in their product line and I am so excited to share my experience with you. When I am looking for a new skin or face product I aim for a few important features: It must smell amazing, it can’t be oily and it has to dry quickly. While trying the Lady Soma face and body products review I kept these important features in mind.

Somaluxe Stem Cell Moisturizer

The Somalux Stem Cell Moisturizer is best for anti-aging, wrinkles, and overall skin improvement. I have been using it daily in the evenings since receiving it and my skin feels smoother and appears to look brighter. The Somalux Stem Cel Moisturizer contains plant stem cells, peptides and amino acids in one advanced anti-aging formula. It stimulates new skin cells, collagen production and skin cell longevity. The peptides and botanicals will soften skin texture and add firmness (something I need!). The Somaluxe Stem Cell Moisturizer smells faintly like oranges and it’s made of a thick cream which I love. It is definitely not oily, it smells amazing and it drys quickly. I love it.

Somaluxe Shampoo + Conditioner

The Somaluxe Shampoo and Conditioner provides a deep clean that removes product buildup and effectively cleans hair and adds moisture. It also strengthens hair with amino acids and it is made of organic ingredients & plant extracts leave hair clean and manageable. Those of you that know me, know that I am most definitely a no-fuss hair type of girl. I like my hair to be soft and light and I am extremely picky about the products I put into it. I have been so impressed with teh Somaluxe Shampoo and Conditioner for several reasons. I have been impressed with the Somaluxe Shampoo the most, usually natural products do not have the lathering ability like the Somaluxe Shampoo does and don’t get me started on the scent because it is amazing! It smells like limes which is an amazing scent to wake up to in the morning and after showering I feel clean, refreshed and ready to start the day and my hair is not heavy or oily! The Somaluxe Conditioner smells like coconuts and after a shampoo and conditioner I smell like a tropical vacation!

Somaluxe Lip Rescue

The Somaluxe Lip Rescue contains a rich blend of soothing additives to moisturize and straighten the lip moisture barrier. It can reduce the appearance of lip lines while improving lip density for plumper (more kissable?!) lips while providing long lasting moisture. The Southern California summers and dry winters wreck havoc on my lips and I have been using the Somaluxe Lip Rescue to keep my dry lips more pouty. It smells faintly like honey and every time I put it on the dog follows me around the house!

Somaluxe Raspberry Red Lip Gloss

The Somaluxe Raspberry Red Lip Gloss adds a  red shimmer to the lip by using an organic blend of antioxidant rich ingredients and herbal extracts. It contains omega rich pigments that protect lips from the signs of aging. The cocoa and shea butter in the formula moisturize lips, while raspberry and natural minerals provides a red, rich shimmer. My daughter stole the lip gloss out of the box and I had to steal it back while she was at school. It smells great and I love the packaging.
