The Super Pop-Up Pirate game is the surprise family game that is a real barrel of fun. Push the pirate into the barrel and take turns sliding your swords into the slots, but watch out! If the sword goes into the wrong slot up pops the pirate which means ”yer“ out. But which slot will it be? You won’t know because it changes with every game.
My kids and I played the Super Pop-Up Pirate game together after receiving the game for review purposes, all opinions are my own and I was not expecting them to like it so much, but holey moley they loved playing! The anticipation and excitement in their faces as they each took turns was just so much fun to watch. The concept of the game (you know-stabbing swords to poke the pirate) is a little strange, but alas it really is a fun game. I like that it was easy enough for my 2 year old and 4 year old to understand and play and exciting enough for my 7 year old to want to play with us too.

The TOMY Super Pop-Up Pirate game is great at helping teach hand-eye coordination, taking turns, strategy and honestly it’s just plain fun! With the gift giving holidays approaching quickly, you just have to pick up this game for your little ones at home. It’s not very often that my kids can find something they all like to do together, all at the same time but this game did just that! I am so happy that I was able to do a pop up pirate game review.

Can see where this game would be fun for all ages…..the “surprise” factor has got to keep one on the edge of their seat ! Cute.
