“Sometime Last Night” R5 at The Greek Theatre was amazing!

Funny Mom Blog contributor Judith and her girls attended the R5 “Sometime Last Night” concert at The Greek Theatre on Sunday and here is Judith’s recap!

R5 concert girls

Thanks to the Funny Mom Blog I had the opportunity to attend the R5 at The Greek Theatre concert this past Sunday with my girls and it was amazing! My 9 year old daughter nearly jumped out of her socks when I asked her if she would like to go, R5 is quite popular with the teeny bopper set and we were so thrilled to go to The Greek Theatre in LA, it was our first time there and we loved it! My daughters and I had such a great time at The Greek Theatre to see R5, all opinions are my own.

To prepare before the concert I looked up R5’s latest songs so that I would be able to sing along with my girls at the concert and I was happily surprised to see that I already knew most of their music! I certainly knew some of their songs from their first album title “LOUDER” ! Last Sunday’s concert was all about R5’s newest album “ SOMETIME LAST NIGHT” and it was great!R5

R5 is made up of four siblings Ross, Riker, Rocky and Rydel Lynchand their friend “Ratliff” but I bet you didn’t know that one of the siblings Ross Lynch is also one of the main characters on the Disney Channel hit series Austin and Ally starting as Austin Moon. My 9 year old daughter loves watching Austin and Ally and so does my younger daughter too.

Sunday’s R5 concert at The Greek Theatre in LA proved that R5 is a talented group of young guys and gal. They  play their own musical instruments and also write their own songs, they are fun,  passionate and powerful  and the energy on their show is amazing, they give one hundred percent and leave everything out there for their fans.  And the energy I saw on the live show is also what you can hear on their new CD “SOMETIME LAST NIGHT”.  I can truly say  that my girls were not the only ones that enjoy the concert and that R5 is not only a band for teens but for everyone who likes good music.  R5 has gain another fan and would absolutely go watch them perform again when the chance arises. The Greek Theatre was the perfect location for such an upbeat band too, the open air venue and gorgeous location made for such a perfect night!

Log on now to see where R5 will be playing next!
