Colorful, Happy Products for a Colorful, Happy Childhood

The Road is Bumpy…
After having two somewhat quick potty training successes with my two older kids I wasn’t prepared for a bumpy road on the way to potty training success with my third child. I do have to admit that although it is not entirely his fault (he IS massively stubborn however) that it is taking quite awhile to get him completely potty trained.
I have found that the best way to potty train a toddler that is ready is to do the “pull the bandaid off quickly” method. That means, once you start potty training you do not stop and you do not regress. I mean, sure, you’re going to have a few messy floors and a few (OK tons) of accidents to clean up but I always figure that anything worth doing is worth doing right (and quickly). However, that doesn’t mean you have to go straight from diaper to underwear, having a really high quality, thick and soft training pants helps tremendously instead of a disposable pull-up which can be confused too easily with a diaper.
Zoocchini organic training pants are the perfect stepping stone in potty training success. And they are the perfect alternative to a disposable pull up. They have a layer of double sided terry cloth sandwiched between layers of cotton for extra absorbency in case of accidents.
