The largest park addition…ever!
Legoland, located in Carlsbad California just opened its largest park addition….The Lego Movie World! Now that Legoland California Resort is finally back open after being closed for 13 months, the family theme park in Carlsbad, CA is excited to open THE LEGO® MOVIE™ WORLD for families to enjoy! For the first time, kids and families will step onto the streets of Bricksburg and experience the Park’s newest and biggest adventure which brings the blockbuster films The Lego Movie and The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, to life. The little kids and I were lucky enough to attend the grand opening of the brand new land and we loved everything about it! This is a sponsored post, all opinions are our own.

6 New Interactive Attractions
Emmet’s Flying Adventure
The flagship ride which allows guests to hop aboard Emmet’s triple decker flying couch for a thrill-seeking race against his friends. Think of Soarin’ California only with much more action and adventure! It was a very thrilling ride for my youngest (7 years old).
Guests under 40” in height or under 3 years of age are not allowed on the ride
Guests between 40” to 52”, and 3 to 8 years of age, must be accompanied by a supervising companion age 14 years or older capable of ensuring the child’s safety and seated next to the child.
Guests 52” in height and above 8 years of age may ride unaccompanied
Unikitty’s Disco Drop
A family friendly dip, drop and spin ride that’ll have everyone giggling! You’ll enter through a colorful rainbow portal where once aboard, you’ll drop, dip and swoop to the tiptop of Cloud Cuckoo Land before you spin and head back down to Earth. I’m sorry to say that none of my kids wanted to ride this one! I guess they got my fear of heights after all.

Emmet’s Super Suite
Take a stroll through downtown Bricksburg where you will find Emmet’s apartment! Emmet and his friends are spotted by guests daily in Emmet’s Super Suite, where brick-tastic photos can be taken! It’s a character meet-and-greet!
Benny’s Play Ship
Join Benny on his enthusiasm for space ships aboard Benny’s Play Ship. SPACESHIIIPPP!!!! This giant spaceship play-ship is so fun, so prepare for takeoff! My kids loved this free for all playground, the twisty slides were their fav.
Queen Watevra Wa’nabi’s carousel
My favorite Lego Movie character (my golly she’s so awesome!!) has her very own carousel in The Lego Movie World. Hop aboard the family fun and friendly.
I am sure there are height restrictions of some sort, but I missed them. Sorry!
Build Watevra You Wa’Na Build zone
This area was my favorite in the new The Lego Movie World land because I was able to sit back and catch my breath from all that awesome. My kids had a blast lego building to their hearts content!
