When I started blogging, all I blogged about was the daily monotonie of momlife. Today…we went to the park. Yesterday…I washed the clothes (I mean, it was boring but perhaps I’m exaggerating?) Then, when my blog started to pick up speed and I tried to “catch the blogging wave” so to speak, I heard over and over again about how we should create posts that were not only useful to our readers (duh) but also offered a finite amount of very useful “steps” to something. SO I have now some 10 years later created this “101 Reasons To See Toy Story 4” post. Which…actually has nothing near 101 reasons and more like…2. But you’re here so let’s have fun… toy story 4 review

My kids and I were invited to preview Toy Story 4 before it hits theaters nationwide on Friday June 21st just so I could tell you all how awesome it is. All opinions are my own (obviously). toy story 4 review

The New Characters. Toy Story, originally released on November 22, 1995, was the first fully computer animated feature film and the highest grossing movie of the year. It was nominated for three Oscars and two Golden Globes. The franchise evolved and the beloved characters grew through the film sequels…to Toy Story 4. Where you will FALL IN LOVE with the new characters. Unlike (slightly coughs) scary and aggressive characters of sequels past, the new characters of Toy Story 4 are lovable and relatable. Trust me.

My favorite new character has to be forky. YOU will love him and his existential crisis and all of his innocent wonderment. 

I recently saw a television interview where Tom Hanks proclaimed that Toy Story 4 is one of the best films (if not THE best) ever made. Toy Story 4 has so much heart and so much thought, it actually seemed to start and finish in less than 10 minutes. You will love the film. Your kids will love the film. And above all else, Toy Story 4 will give you a sense of full circle completion unlike any other film sequence in history.
