Venice is always so crazy. I wish I felt better about going there, but all my teen life, my parents forbid me to go because of gangs etc. About 8 years ago, I went with my friends and someone got shot like 10 minutes before we reached a certain area. Basically we played in the water instead and that diversion kept us away from the incident. I haven’t been back since.
