If you’re like me then you’ve had quite a time keeping your school-aged children entertained, enriched and happy this summer. Historically, the “dog days of summer” refer to September when the heat drags on and it seems like it’ll never become Fall. In this house, the “dog days of summer” refer to those last couple of summer weeks before school starts back up and I’ve spent all of my time, energy, money and brain cells trying to keep this kid happy. This momma is pooped.
In comes BabbaBox from Babbaco. I have reviewed one of their awesome boxes before as you can see here. When offered the chance to review another box I didn’t hesitate. I’m all about fun…and convenient fun delivered to my door is even better. Of course all opinions are my own.
BabbaBox kits from BabbaCo are packages of lifesaving kiddie fun. What I love the most about BabbaBox kits is that not only do they provide endless hours of fun, they also give me the opportunity to do things with my kid I otherwise wouldn’t do. Sure, I’m on Pinterest. Sure, I’ve seen those kid science DIY tips and websites and articles. But I’m lazy and if it wasn’t delivered to my door with all of the materials needed and clear instructions I would never do them.
Inside the BabbaBox “Kitchen Science” kit were 4 experiments to try. Most of the materials needed for each experiment (the only thing I needed to have from my own kitchen was water and vegetable oil). We chose to make something called “magic mud” and “lava lamps”. My kids and I had so so so sooooo much fun creating them. We sat around the kitchen table laughing and playing for hours yesterday. That, in and of itself, makes BabbaBox kits invaluable in my book.
My mind was blown…BLOWN away by the magic mud. Magic Mud is a Newtonian liquid – both a solid and liquid (think: quicksand) and I had never seen nor touched anything like it. I took several videos of it because I was just so fascinated.
I cannot recommend the BabbaBox kit highly enough. BabbaBox from BabbaCo offers different subscriptions at different pricing. For more information log on to BabbCo to join now.
