How to easily transform your room with Cozy Wall Art & Giveaway

I am a lover of over the top room décor themes. When we purchased our home several years ago I had grand schemes in mind for fantastical kids bedrooms, however between a lack of time, motivation and skill I never saw those grandiose themed rooms quite through. The truth is, I like over the top themes and décor but only when they are easy and inexpensive to achieve. While in the planning stages of my room designs I frequently visited online wall decal stores, but I found myself timid on purchasing anything because of price and the fear of a difficult application process of the wall decal. My Wall Decal Mural Design Idea

After spending several hours on the Cozy Wall Art website and then having a baby, I finally chose to get Circle Dots in Multiple Sizes Wall Pattern Decals in dark blue, blue, red and lime green to put in my youngest son’s bedroom. Each sheet contained 20 dot shaped wall decals ranging from 1″ to 10″ with 2 decals per size. My idea was to create a wave like pattern on his wall above his bed. We painted his room a robot steal gray and it is my plan to decorate with bright primary colors (red, blue, green and orange). I’m going to purchase modernish furniture for his room, so therefore to offset the straight, hard modern edges I wanted to create a flowing, wave-like, movement wall decal mural.

My Cozy Wall Art Application Process

The most daunting task of the entire application process was cutting out each of the circles. That’s it. I enlisted the help of my 7 year old and within 20 minutes or so we were done cutting each of the circle decals out. Then I got to get creative and place the decals on the wall using painters tape to create a wall decal pattern. Applying the Cozy Wall Art decals was so easy and stress free. The wall decals pealed right off of the backing, stuck on the wall and were easy to reposition if necessary. I don’t know why it took me so long to decorate with wall decals. Instead of doing the original design idea of a wave pattern with the dot decals, I did a kind of blast off with them instead. Starting in the middle of the wall I placed the smallest dots in a cluster fashion and then created a diagonal ray pattern to each wall corner. The entire application process would have probably taken about 4 hours if I was uninterrupted, however since I have 10,000 children I was interrupted 10,000 times and I stopped and started with applying the dot decals over a period of 3 or 4 days.

I applied the Cozy Wall Art decals with blue painters tape. In the picture below you can see the outline of my design with the smaller dot decals clustered in the center of the wall and the larger decals in the corner to create the ray.

I am so, so, sooo happy with the way his room was transformed with Cozy Wall Art decals!
