“Saving Mr. Banks” gives a behind the scenes view of the creative process in making the classic 1964 musical film, “Mary Poppins”. Set to hit theaters in December 2013, Tom Hanks takes on the role of Walt Disney in this John Lee Hancock directed film.
After a promise to his daughters to bring Mary Poppins to life from P.L. Travers books, Walt Disney goes to great lenghts – even jumping through hoops to get the unbudging author to release her tight grip.
